About The Owner

City Guide Marketing, LLC was founded by a local Small Business Owner in Voorhees New Jersey. When their business was new, like most new businesses there was little money in the budget for advertising. They knew they had a great business and it would grow by word of mouth once people tried their services. They also knew that growing that way would take time and they wanted everyone to know about their business right away. Like every business they were approached by local newspapers and magazines that wanted to sell them advertising, but they learned quickly this was a very costly way to reach customers and they had concerns about its effectiveness, knowing what they did when they got these advertisements in their own mail. With the high cost to advertise in these local magazines and newspapers they needed an effective lower cost way to reach local customers.

They turned to the Internet realizing that today more and more people are using the Internet to search for products and services they need or want. Furthermore the Internet and a website would be there for prospective customers to see and learn about their business 24/7. Little did they realize then it would even reach customers across the country and around the world. They spent well over $1,000 and had a website developed for their business, and now had a great way to tell customers about their business. Although they quickly learned that just having a website was not the answer without a way for customers to find their website on the Internet.

After trial and error they learned how to market their business on the Internet and found a great way to drive local customers to their website. In the middle of 2006 they started their first Local City Guide Site, Voorhees City Guide. Shortly there after toward the end of 2006 they added Marlton and Cherry Hill City Guide Sites. In 2007 over 400 new customers came to their business that said they found their business on the Internet. The Internet accounted for over 70% of their new customers that year. Being impressed with how the Internet was helping grow their business in late 2007 they formed a company called City Guide Marketing, LLC to help other local small business owners grow their businesses. City Guide Marketing offers very affordable website options, a full array of Internet marketing services, and a growing list of City Guide Sites with local community business directories. These local City Guide Sites are where business can be listed and found by local customers on the Internet. In addition to a Free Listing businesses can obtain low cost advertising options to better help them reach customers and customers find them using the Internet.

Today their business is growing strong thanks to their website and the Internet in helping them gain new customers.
